Welcome to my site, first off I love comic books and have done since I can remember, it's the art, the stories, the lettering and the colouring that has always inspired me to draw my own comics, anything boring or tedious that I have to do in this life I always think on writing and drawing stories and artwork from the images in my head to cheer myself up, over the coming months I will be adding allsorts to this website, mainly about comics but also with links to other interests like tattoo design and just art in general.

When I really get into the swing of things I am going to be selling my own e-comics which will be downloadable for your convenience, originally I was going to do solely ongoing comic books, month in month out but I have since rejected this idea in favour of the graphic novel story approach at about 140 plus pages each, in addition there will also be a short comic and story section which will be updated on a regular basis and also a gallery section and members discussion area is in the works too.

Comic books

The comic books that I am mainly interested in are the horror themed ones that I have created in my head and the demons and monsters that I love to draw are a big part of my life, it's the way a story can be told utliliising just the form of art and simple words in speech balloons that inspires me to keep on creating.

Ideas

Often thinking up ideas is the hardest part of creating comics but also sometimes the most easiest if this makes any kind of sense, after all thinking of ideas is the fun part, the best creative process I can think of, you can brainstorm using single words on paper or do small tiny drawings( known as thumbnails) on a large sheet of A3, or both, or even try to draw stick figures relating to the things you imagine drawing, the sketches don't have to be perfect at this stage as this is the initial rough drawing building exercise that any artist usually goes through.

Pencilling/layout

Before pencilling a page you have to agree with yourself on the final layout that you are going to draw, again by using thumbnails, which are small layouts drawn quickly for reference later on, the panels of a comic have to flow in a sequential order so that it is easier to read and follow the story action from left to right,

Inking

Inking is the process of going over all your pencil work and adding dark shade and form to your drawings, this could be also your last chance to change anything you're not happy with, maybe somethings not gelling or looking right, so get rid of it, the universal idea of inking is to enhance your underlaying pencil drawings and make your art ahead of the pack( the competition)

Lettering

With lettering you usually have to have some basic knowledge or previous experience of 3d logo construction and particular on computers in these days is a must and is easier in general to achieve good results for your sound effects in your pages.
